The show is hosted by indie comics legend Ed Pinsent. We had a lovely chat about music, my own artistic life and other stuff. Ed also invited me to play some of my favourite music and influences. I also played a few of my own songs.

Femcels/World Peace DMT Hand Drawn Dress actions!

Some recent hand drawn wearable art created  to celebrate the current EU/UK tour of The Femcels and World Peace DMT. On the pics below the dress is worn by singer and painter Rowan Please who is in both bands.

The character in my comic cartographic zine 'The Badly Drawn Girl Climbs Out of the Drawing and Runs into the Entrance of Turnpike Lane Tube Station' is actually based on Rowan.

This came about after I had been looking through various fashion magazines looking for a striking outfit to put the character in and was having no luck. I then remembered Rowan who's work I had seen online after she said some kind words about my zine 'The End of the Beginning: Some Drawings and Paintings 2020-2024'. Any hey, Rowan seems to have elevated her day to day fashion sense to an artform and it is very much part of the bands visual aesthetic and spills into the songcraft as well.

It was really nice to be asked to make this frock and I should be making some more stuff for the bands in the future which I am really looking forward to.
